Wisteria Maiden

My entry for the Character Design Quarterly April 2019 competition. The theme is Kabuki, and I couldn't NOT participate. My favorite Kabuki of all time is the Wisteria Maiden. The lyrics in part of the play tell us that this lovely maiden is in reality the spirit of the tree. I decided to depict the maiden transforming back into the tree once her performance is over.
